The hearing of our KPRA petition commenced today in the Supreme Court. The case is being heard by Madam Justice Carla Forth.

Day 1 Update
Today our lawyer made her opening remarks and then lead the Judge through our evidence. Our argument has started on the standard of review and the question of whether the approval of the services agreement and the subsequent meeting could lawfully be made in camera (in secret).
The hearing is open to the public and we had a good showing from our community on the morning of Day 1.
What happens from here?
Our argument will continue on Wednesday morning and will be followed by argument of the City. The argument of the First Nation will follow.
We were scheduled for 3 days but it appears it may go to 4 days.
